On 8th February, we had the pleasure of attending a wonderful wedding fair at Lyrath Estate, meeting couples, chatting about wedding music, and enjoying the lovely atmosphere of one of Ireland’s most beautiful wedding venues.

Wedding fairs are always a great opportunity for us to get out and meet people face to face. While websites, videos and social media are useful, there is still nothing quite like having a real conversation with couples as they begin planning. Exciting times!

As The Very Odd Couple, our music is all about creating a warm, personal and memorable atmosphere. Whether it is a church ceremony, civil ceremony, spiritual ceremony or drinks reception, we love helping couples choose songs that are meaningful to them and tell their story.

The Lyrath Estate was a lovely setting to speak with couples at different stages of their planning. Some already had a clear idea of the songs they wanted; others were just beginning to explore what music could bring to their day. We are always happy to offer suggestions and inspiration.

Events like this are also a great reminder of how personal every wedding is. No two couples are the same, and no two ceremonies feel exactly alike. That is one of the reasons we enjoy what we do so much.
